The theme chosen for the creation of the installation is transhumance.
Through reading the definition of the term, I noticed a correlation with a mental place in which each individual feels safe, far from the real world.
If on the one hand technological progress induces people to be catapulted into a myriad of information and images, on the other hand I have perceived, especially during the pandemic, a sense of inadequacy and pressure that tends to crush the intimate part of each of us.
In a world where everything is speed, information and images, I like to think that each of us has his or her own place in which to take refuge.
My place is that dream, taken up and described by some pages of my “diary”, in which I can reconnect with myself at any time.
Starting from reality, I transhume with my thoughts towards this place.
